Business Analyst — Founder, Sreekar AI Technologies
Nineteen years translating complex requirements into working systems — across consulting, gaming, and banking, at Deloitte, Electronic Arts, and HSBC. This year I proved I could build those systems myself — with AI, and zero hand-written code.
The journey
Before I built anything, I spent 19 years sitting between finance leaders and the technology teams building their systems — hearing a problem in business terms, and turning it into something precise enough to build.
Across three global institutions
Multi-product portfolios navigated directly with Product CFOs at HSBC's Global Banking & Markets division.
HSBC · Electronic Arts · Deloitte
Requirements gathering, gap analysis, UAT leadership, and stakeholder workshops — the daily discipline of business analysis, years before it had that name on my title.
The insight
In January 2026, I left HSBC and founded Sreekar AI Technologies to test something on myself: that the discipline behind 19 years of requirements work was itself the missing ingredient in building software, not just specifying it for someone else to build.
A vague requirement produces a vague product, whether the builder is a developer or an AI. A precisely visualised one produces exactly what was intended — fast.
That's the exact skill a Business Analyst brings to the table: narrowing the gap between what the business needs and what the development team can act on.
HSBC · Global Banking & Markets
translating CFO and VP-level requirements into reporting systems that shipped — across portfolios exceeding $500M.
The same discipline, applied to a different kind of build: this page, and everything I've since built, were specified with the same rigor.
What I've built since
As Founder of Sreekar AI Technologies, I scoped, specified, and shipped the following — end to end, as the Business Analyst, product owner, and builder in one seat.
See the live product suite — interactive demos and a working ROI calculator, open to anyone.
A live, rules-based algorithmic trading system for individual investors and private practices — risk controls, execution logic, and reporting, built from a blank page.
A specified product suite covering support-ticket triage, order-to-invoice automation, data reconciliation, and reporting — each scoped with clear client use cases before build.
The company's own site — including live interactive product demos and a working ROI calculator — designed and built personally.
The technical proof
Designed, built, and deployed with zero traditional coding background — using structured prompt engineering and AI-assisted development from end to end.
None of this replaces a development team for every kind of build. What it proves is that I can turn a clear business picture into working software fast enough to validate an idea before committing engineering time to it — precisely the value a Business Analyst adds upstream of a build.
Eleven years inside Global Banking & Markets, paired with proof I can turn a business vision into working software — fast.
